away from the city that hurts and knocks
I'm standing alone by the desolate docks

it's about time! getting on an orange line train at rosslyn during rush hour is virtually impossible!
I think all features of the new cars are improvements, but I think there is a need for the traditional poles near the doors. For reasons I can't explain Metro trains jerk to a stop and jerk when starting up-- unlike other subway trains I have ridden in several other cities in the world. Without those poles people have nothing to hold onto, and do fall into each other.
